Using the 4Ps in Digital Marketing

Just like any other endearvor, to succeed in digital marketing you need effective strategies.
There are many strategies to consider in our digital marketing efforts but in this article, I would focus on four, which I refer to as 4Ps in Digital Marketing. If there is any problem or something is not working, we can look at each P to work out a solution. These are: Price, Product, Promotion and Place.

Price is the perceived value of a product or service. If the product or service is priced higher or lower than the perceived value, then it will not sell. You need to understand the industry standard and be competitive.

You must have a briliiant product or service to offer. There is likehood that you are not the only business offering the product or service.
So must have a Unique Selling Point(USP). Then clearly communicate your USP to your audience. Many businesses miss the importance of this.

Promotion should be part of your overall marketing strategy. You need to have a strategy and sales promotion. The sales or discount needs to be attractive and exciting for the customers.

This is about the physical and online locations of your target audience. Find out where your customers are located online?
Where do they spend there time: facebook, twitter, instagram, search sites, news sites, etc. You need to consider how your product will be distributed to your customer here. This part of your strategy will show you what channel to use to reach your customers.
